Michael brings a wide range of experience to bear for the benefit of his clients. Having spent considerable time working on the investor-side of angel and venture financing transactions, he understands what investors want to see (and more importantly, what they don't want to see) when considering a potential investment. Michael strives to keep his clients free of legal and business issues that could derail a financing or exit transaction. In addition to angel and venture capital financing transactions, his practice includes business organization and founder's agreements, securities law compliance and mergers & acquisitions. Born and raised in the Boston area, Michael co-founded the VC Ready Law Group, LLC, a corporate law boutique specializing in the representation of emerging companies. His previous experience includes practice at Goodwin Procter LLP, where he focused on technology companies and the representation of investors in venture capital financing transactions, and Goodman and Carr LLP in Toronto.
