Lauren is a litigation attorney practicing in the areas of commercial and employment litigation. Lauren prosecutes and defends a myriad of matters across all aspects of litigation.

Lauren has deep experience in employment disputes for both management and employees, including wage and hour violations, misclassification, and discrimination. She has a strong background in managing pretrial discovery in complex, large scale, business litigation involving shareholder disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, and complex breach of contract cases, among others.

Companies and employees work with Lauren on a variety of issues including how to avoid litigation. She has experience advising on employee departures, in drafting severance and separation agreements, and conducting internal investigations. Her practice includes avoiding data related disputes by drafting thorough privacy policies and terms of use for websites.

Experience

Lauren’s experience includes practicing at a boutique employment firm in Cambridge. She also worked in the civil litigation departments of both the U.S. Attorney’s office and the City of Boston and represented low-income civil litigation clients as part of BC Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic. Prior to her career in law, Lauren worked in the Massachusetts Governor’s Office.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and her rescue dog, Lucy.
